Remembrance Day

On the 11th November the whole school came together at 11 o’clock to keep the national 2 minutes silence, before our wreaths of poppies were laid. The children learnt about why we have Remembrance Day and the significance of a poppy. They also saw how Remembrance Sunday took place in London with King Charles leading the nation to remember, when wreaths of poppies were laid at the Cenotaph.
