Sports Day 2023

The Widcombe Infant School community gathered together for our annual Sports Day on the 26th June. The children in each year group took part in a range of races to earn points for their house team. The races included sprinting, skipping, sack race, balancing a bean bag, obstacle race, hockey dribbling, egg and spoon race and football dribbling. After the children’s races, there were races for dads, mums and toddlers. Following all the races our champions were the children from the Roman Baths house team and the house cup was presented to the Roman Baths house captains. 

A particular highlight of the afternoon for our Year 2 children was when they completed in a sprint and a long distance race. Congratulations to our winners who were presented with medals.
